Commemoration of the victims of the Katyn Massacre by President Andrzej Duda at the Katyn Museum

On April 12, in the Katyn Museum – the martyrdom department of the Polish Army Museum located in the Warsaw Citadel, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, laid wreaths and lit candles in front of the epitaph plaques commemorating the victims of the Katyn Massacre.

The visit took place on the eve of the anniversary of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Katyn Massacre, adopted by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in November 2007 in order for the Polish state to pay tribute to the victims of genocide.
